Our extensive line of unfailing hand held refractometers are used in many in many industries to make quick and easy measurements. They are appropriate for fruit juices, jam, honey, soft drinks, ripeness in fruit, sugar content of beet and cane juices, sauces, soluble oils, detergents, and anti-freeze just to name a few. The rugged, durable design is constructed of corrosion resistant brass and rubber-insolated grips. The visual hand held refractometers include a high contrast demarcation line for easy accurate readings. Also, a zero adjusting screw for calibration and eyepiece focusing has been worked into the design.
