This
popular general purpose refractometer gives a wide refractive
indexes (RI) and temperature ranges making it ideal for applications
in the essential oil, crude oil, and edible oil industries.
The GPR 12-70 is also perfect for measuring sugars, fruit
juices, drinks, solvents, thick pastes pharmaceutical products,
plastics, and any other product which requires quality control
for RI or concentration. Also, this instrument includes improved
software, can be measured up to 70°C, contains synthetic
sapphire prism and LED light source for long life, is less
than 24cm wide, has a waterproof construction which was designed
for easy cleaning, and includes many more handy features and
accessories.

We
now offer a higher accuracy general purpose instrument with
similar features to our popular GPR 12-70 refractometer. The
GPR 53X offers a 5th decimal place resolution of Refractive
Index (RI) and a 2nd decimal place resolution of Brix (% of
sucrose). This model covers the full Brix range required by
the sugar industry (0 to 95%). The GPR 53X also comes with
the latest software that includes intelligent monitoring of
when the sample reading has reached stability, sample numbering
and time, date and serial number output for traceability,
and more. More features include a user friendly 16 button
keypad, a waterproof construction which was designed for easy
cleaning, a compact design with a small footprint (less than
24cm wide), a wide temperature range (5°C up to 70°C),
contains synthetic sapphire prism and LED light source for
long life, and includes many more handy features.
