Product Information

The ATM X2 is a colorimeter specially designed to simplify the measurement, calculation, and recording of sugar color. Accuracy is improved by having a fixed wavelength, very narrow bandwidth filters to select the measuring wavelength. The highest accuracy for white sugars is achieved by using the longest path length cell (163mm), and the darker colors are achieved by using our set of shorter path length cells using the sizes recommended by I.C.U.M.S.A. (International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis). These fit directly into the ATM X2 without the need for a special cell holder or adapter.

Another version of the ATM X2 supports the bottlers method for color determination, which is the method commonly used in the soft drink industry. This version offers simultaneous measurement of 420nm and 720nm as specified. When ordering your ATM X2 please specify the wavelength or wavelengths (maximum 2) required.
