The AA-5 angular scale reads directly in angular degrees to a 0.01° resolution. The AA-5 sugar scale model displays the reading directly in degrees Z (International Sugar Scale, ICUMSA 1988). The AA-5 Switchable scale has a dual range angular/sugar scale which provides both angular degrees and International Sugar (ISS) scales accessed through a selectable switch. Simply place a sample tube into the instrument's sample chamber (up to 200mm) and in approximately six second, the result is displayed digitally on red 9mm LED's, giving clear, unmistakable readings for the operator log.
